The Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) Clinic opened in 2008 and is known for delivering compassionate care in a clean, well-staffed facility. DCMC is committed to helping reduce the country’s grim statistics on maternal and child mortality and morbidity per year.

The RCH Clinic Services Include:

  • Prenatal care and ultrasound
  • Emergency obstetric care, C-sections
  • Postnatal and newborn evaluation and care
  • Diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS, including mother to child transmission (PMTCT)
  • Family planning
  • Fertility counseling
  • Immunizations and well checks for children under age 5
  • Management of childhood diseases
  • Nutrition counseling for both expectant mothers and children

Impact

The RCH Clinic provided the following in 2017:
  • care for more than 36,000 patients
  • a safe, clean environment for 595 deliveries
  • care for nearly 6,000 children below age 5 for immunization and health growth services
  • family planning services for more than 300 patients
