Reproductive & Child Health
The Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) Clinic opened in 2008 and is known for delivering compassionate care in a clean, well-staffed facility. DCMC is committed to helping reduce the country’s grim statistics on maternal and child mortality and morbidity per year.
The RCH Clinic Services Include:

- Prenatal care and ultrasound
- Emergency obstetric care, C-sections
- Postnatal and newborn evaluation and care
- Diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV/AIDS, including mother to child transmission (PMTCT)
- Family planning
- Fertility counseling
- Immunizations and well checks for children under age 5
- Management of childhood diseases
- Nutrition counseling for both expectant mothers and children

Impact
The RCH Clinic provided the following in 2017:
- care for more than 36,000 patients
- a safe, clean environment for 595 deliveries
- care for nearly 6,000 children below age 5 for immunization and health growth services
- family planning services for more than 300 patients
