What We Do

DTHD provides support for Tanzania-based Dodoma Christian Medical Center (DCMC) and its growing medical staff.  In 2017, DCMC served more than 95,000 patients in Central Tanzania. The medical center provides a range of inpatient, outpatient, dental services and community health outreach programs to a population for whom quality healthcare is not easily found. The Tanzania Ministry of Health has recognized DCMC as the best medical facility in the region with a 3-Star Rating, and the center is not only a referral hospital, but a model for sustainable healthcare in Africa.
